Terminal/Area Air Traffic Control Radar Course (ATCR)

COURSE OVERVIEW

To enable the participants to be able to provide air traffic control services, flight information service and aerodrome information service to air traffic, based on the use of radar.

At the end of the course the student will demonstrate that he has the knowledge and proficiency which will be required by the appropriate licensing authority that issues an ATC radar license

B.Sc in the physical sciences, Mathematics or Geography

SSCE, with at least five credits in English, Mathematics, Geography, Physics and any other science subjects

Diploma in aerodrome and approach control.

Air Traffic Control licence with ratings in A and B.

At least 5years post-A and B rating experience.

Possession of a valid Class 3 Medical Certificate

All female participants shall submit a valid pregnancy test result which must be confirmed negative.
