
NCAT Hosts Nigeria LNG and NCDMB Management Teams for Strategic Partnership Visit
On July 24, 2025, the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Dr. Ismail Danjuma, received the top management teams from Nigeria LNG Limited and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) on a courtesy visit to the College.
During the meeting, Dr. Danjuma appreciated both organizations for the proposed projects they intend to establish at NCAT. In their remarks, the visiting teams commended the College for maintaining world-class standards in aviation training and acknowledged the high quality of NCAT’s equipment and facilities.
The Rector emphasized that NCAT is not only committed to training Nigerians but also provides aviation training to students from other countries, further solidifying its international reputation. In response, one of the visiting team leaders pledged to sponsor several students in key areas such as piloting, aircraft engineering, air traffic control, and other aviation-related fields.
Dr. Danjuma also highlighted the College’s ongoing expansion, noting that NCAT now has active training centres in both Abuja and Lagos, with courses currently running in both locations. He appealed for further collaboration and support from Nigeria LNG and NCDMB, especially in enhancing the College’s infrastructure and presence in Abuja and Lagos.
Following the meeting, Dr. Danjuma led the visiting teams on a tour of various project sites within the College for inspection. After the site visits, the teams departed for their respective destinations.
