NCAT Rector/CE Dedicates Excellence Award to Aviation Minister

The Rector/Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila, has dedicated the Excellence in Public Service Administration Award 2026 to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN.

The award was presented on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, at the 2026 National Summit of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC), held at NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja.

Dr. Danjuma was honoured alongside other distinguished Nigerians, including Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule; the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa; the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris; and Senator Bwacha, among others.

The recognition celebrates Dr. Danjuma ’s achievements and contributions to public service administration and aviation education.

Describing the award as a humbling experience, the Rector/CE said it was a renewed call to greater commitment to service in the aviation sector and to Nigeria. He dedicated the award to Mr Keyamo in appreciation of his supervisory role at the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

The Rector/CE also expressed appreciation to the entire staff of NCAT for their unwavering commitment to service, acknowledging their contributions to the College’s progress and achievements.
