The Nigerian representative, led by the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Dr. Danjuma A. Ismaila, participated in the 2025 African Aviation Training Organization (AATO) General Assembly held from 24th to 26th November 2025 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The General Assembly brought together aviation training institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders from across the continent to deliberate on the future of aviation training in Africa. Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration, harmonizing training standards, and enhancing the capacity of aviation institutions to meet global demands.
Nigeria’s participation—championed by NCAT under the leadership of Dr. Ismaila—reflects the nation’s commitment to advancing aviation training excellence and contributing to the collective development of Africa’s aviation sector.
