Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) Course

COURSE OVERVIEW

An Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is the highest level of pilot license available and is required for pilots who wish to fly large commercial aircraft or work for an airline. An ATPL allows a pilot to act as pilot-in-command or co-pilot in multi-crew aircraft operations.

The ATPL training program includes theoretical and practical components, which cover topics such as aerodynamics, aircraft systems, flight planning, navigation, meteorology, flight operations, and aviation regulations. It also includes flight simulator training and flight training in actual aircraft.

The minimum age of an applicant to commence the course is 21 years with Class I Medical Certificate.

Applicants must be holders of CPL with 1500 hours and should be cumulative cross-country flight, each of a distance in excess of 75 NM.
