Nigerian Journal of Aviation Engineering and Management

The Nigerian Journal of Aviation Engineering and Management (NJAEM) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing research, innovation and professional practice in aviation engineering, aviation management, safety and air transport economics.

1. General Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere.
  • Papers must be written in clear academic English.
  • Submission format: MS Word.
  • Length:
    • Research Articles: 4,000 – 8,000 words
    • Review Papers: 5,000 – 10,000 words
    • Technical Notes: 2,000 – 4,000 words

  • Paper title

  • Institutional affiliations
  • Corresponding author email

Abstract (150–250 words)

  • Problem statement
  • Methodology
  • Key findings
  • Conclusion

Keywords

Provide 4–6 keywords representing the core research area.

Main Sections

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review
  • Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Recommendations
  • References (APA 7th Edition)

3. Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman (Size 12)
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
  • Alignment: Justified
  • Page numbers: Bottom center

4. Tables and Figures

  • Must be numbered sequentially
  • Include clear captions
  • State source if adapted

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • Maximum similarity index ≤ 20%
  • Proper citation required
  • Plagiarism leads to automatic rejection

6. Review Process

  • Double-blind peer review
  • Timeline: 2–4 weeks
