Brief Profile of the Head ISDU:

Mr. Tongong-Ayuba Badung hails from Jos South Local Government area of Plateau State. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Hons) Physics from University of Jos in 1992, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Masters in Business Administration both from Ahmadu Bello University in 2002 respectively and Masters of Science (Applied Geophysics) also from Ahmadu Bello University in 2011.

Mr. Badung’s journey in aviation instruction began with his tenure as a Ground Instructor III in 1995, and he progressively advanced through the ranks, enriching the education of aviation enthusiasts to become a Chief Ground Instructor in NCAT.

He has amassed a rich and diverse background in the field of aviation education and training, marked by a series of progressively influential roles. His journey is characterized by a deep commitment to fostering excellence in aviation instruction, underscored by a remarkable blend of academic qualifications and aviation credentials.

As the Head of the Instructional Systems Design Unit, Mr. Badung contributes to optimizing aviation training methodologies by leveraging effective instructional design principles. He was also head the Ground Studies Department in Flying School before assume the Head, ISDU.
